Where should I start learning astrology?

If you are a beginner, follow the learning path in the app. Each course builds on concepts introduced earlier.

  1. Start by recognising the parts of a birth chart, the Planets and the signs of the Zodiac. You can take the first two courses directly in the app.

    • Read a Birth Chart: Start Here
    • The Planets
    • The Zodiac
  2. Continue with expanding awareness, planetary and transpersonal placements in signs, then Elements, Polarities and Crosses.

  3. Next, study Houses and Aspects to connect the different parts of a chart. Browse the Rulerships and Aspect Patterns previews to see what comes next in the curriculum.

In the app, courses and lessons unlock as you progress. Being able to read a preview on the website does not mean you can already start that course in the app.

Frequently asked questions about astrology courses

Which astrology course should a beginner start with?

Start with “Read a Birth Chart: Start Here”, followed by “The Planets”. These introduce the foundations before you study the Zodiac and planetary placements. You can find both courses directly in the app’s learning path.

Which AstroLingo courses are free?

Four foundation courses are free in the app: Read a Birth Chart: Start Here, The Planets, The Zodiac, and Planetary Placements in Signs. The other available courses require AstroLingo Plus. Access still follows your progress through the learning path; a subscription does not make upcoming courses available.

Can I take the courses on this website?

The website presents the catalog and course previews. Lessons and exercises take place in the AstroLingo app for iOS or Android. Use the “Start Learning” button to open the download links.

Do I need to know my birth time to learn?

You can browse the previews without entering birth details. In the app, your birth date and place let you work with your own birth chart. If you do not know your exact birth time, you can continue: lessons will use sample House placements. You can add your birth time later in Settings.

What does “Coming soon” mean on a course?

You can read its preview on the website when one is available, but its lessons are not yet open in the app. This label does not announce a release date. AstroLingo Plus gives access to available courses without opening upcoming courses.

Which languages are the courses available in?

AstroLingo offers courses in English, French and Spanish. You can change the language in the app’s Settings. The catalog and course previews on this website are also available in all three languages.
